Chub-o

I had a growth ultrasound earlier this week and the tech's estimation is that the baby is already 8lbs 8oz - FANTASTIC. Usually these are off - especially this late in pregnancy, so I asked what her record is like. She said that she's usually within a few ounces, while pointing out the fat rolls on the monitor. Guess we'll see in a few days! Here's a 3D picture, but it's not that great - he/she is a little squished.

(my scanner is on the fritz - sorry - no pic)

Camping

I really wanted to take Wyatt camping before the new baby so I thought Father's Day would be perfect since my husband is a "true cowboy" (as he said sitting by the fire while holding a PBR tallboy). We went down to Hocking Hills on Saturday afternoon and got everything situated before cooking hotdogs and smores over the fire. I think Wyatt's highlight was cooking over the fire. Allie and Tyler's LOVED the smores - Wyatt wouldn't actually eat them. The next morning we cooked a huge breakfast and headed out early since the kids (and adults) got virtually no sleep. Overall it was fun - I'm glad we did it - and now I'm good for another 2-3 years.

father's day photo shoot

Elissa and I thought we'd take the kids to the park one afternoon in hopes of getting a good picture to give to the dads for Father's Day. We only got through one 'pose' before the heat/humidity got the best of everyone - then we went to the playground.

Fun Fest

Another year under our belts and Allie had some company riding most of the rides this year at our parish festival. It was HOT and sticky so the kids didn't last for too long. The women and children went back to the house while the men stayed - surprise surprise :)
tyler was mad that his mom didn't let him roll in the mud :)

Day Out with Thomas

While in Cleveland the other weekend we went to A Day out with Thomas. Wyatt had a blast and LOVED riding the train.

Lohse Visit

I can't believe it's been almost a month! The Lohse clan traveled far and wide to visit the Columbus crew last month. Weekend was filled with lots of beer, baseball, chipotle - the kids had a blast too - i think we forgot to get one of all of them together :(
